Here’s a cool thing I found on another blog. See how many states you can get. You have 10 minutes to think of all 50 states. I got all 50 states with 5 minutes, 32 seconds to spare. How many can you get?? I love little quizzes and stuff like this. Brain teasers are so great for keeping your brain working. Can’t let that brain atrophy now can we?? LOL

By the way, I can remember the states, but in most cases, can’t remember their capitals, even though when I was in 5th grade, we had to learn all 50 states and their capitals! Go figure!

Yes, as usual, I’m bored. I’ve watched the first disc of the second season of Charmed. Right now, the remake version of The Amityville Horror is gracing my DVD player and TV. It’s a really good movie, I’ve seen it before, in the theater. I rather enjoy it. But I’m still bored. LOL

Now for a random ramble…..I love candles. Scented candles especially. Right now, I have several of them burning, none of them the same scent. Go figure.

I got my front room cleaned up. I even cleared off the piano and put 2 purple glass candle plates with short pillar candles on each end, a purple vase of black roses w/ purple glitter on them in the middle, and a framed pic of my best friend. I have a matching frame with a pic of me in it, but I’m not sure where it is. Once I find it, it’ll go on the other side of the vase.  I got the candles and the candle plates I put on the piano at the dollar store. Sometimes I just love the dollar store. LOL

Ok, I’m out of here. I have nothing to say that makes any sense what so ever.

For my long weekend. I have a 3 day weekend and I am putting it to mostly offline use. Here is my to-do list for this weekend:

Clean out dresser drawers
Finish putting away clean clothes
Remove the Christmas Tree from the front room
Add personal touches to piano instead of clutter
Remove all items from the piano & dust piano
Wash dishes
Clean up kitchen floor & mop
Pick up around bed
Take soda cans in for redemption
Vacuum carpets
Clean bathroom
Pick up around desk
Take trash to dumpster

As you can see, I’ve got a few of the items already crossed off. I have a printed list of them and I’m using a highlighter to mark off what I’ve done so far. I really need to get this apartment of mine straightened up, as it’s a complete and total pig-sty. I must stop spending so much time on the computer!

Off to work on the Christmas tree removal (it’s in the box, I just have to move it to the storage closet), cleaning off the piano, and getting all the trash off the front room floor so I can vacuum it.

Doesn’t this just figure?? I’m pretty sure that’s what happens to our undelivered email. After all, there isn’t much of anywhere else it could go is there? Or maybe it’s floating around in someone else’s mailbox! That would be scary! Perhaps we should all rethink sending those mushy love notes to our sweeties! LOL
