So Very Tired

Saturday, March 31st, 2007

My feet are killing me. I seriously could just scream. I know what will happen tomorrow when I go to put on my shoes. I’ll be ready to cry.

My boss left me in charge tonight….. and in my area, with only 2 girls out doing dimissals. Friday nights are hell for dismissals. I was out helping with dismissals, then one of the girls helped me dash through my area. Half our beepers didn’t work right, so getting ahold of other people to help was impossible. I paged some of them overhead, but apparently they were vacuuming and didn’t hear it. UGH. At least we didn’t have a 3-3 (fire) or a 0-0 (water/steam leak). I’d have lost it if we had. LOL

It’s raining outside and I’m actually happy that it is. I’m not sure why but rain seems to fit my current mood. I guess I like the cleansing effect. That and maybe it won’t be so damned humid later on. LOL

I managed to save $40 towards an air conditioner. Last summer I boiled in my apartment. I have permission (I don’t pay utilities) to have a window a/c but don’t have one yet. But I’ve got some of the cash for it already. Thank goodness! ) I hate to be hot. I can stand being cold, but not being hot. LOL

And wow! There isn’t any sponsors for this post. LOL No BlogtoProfit, no PPP. ) Â It’s a miracle. LOL

I’ve got to go. My bed is calling me. So is my DVD player. ) I think I’ll put in a disc and watch until I feel like I’m going to fall asleep and then turn it off and go to sleep.

Ciao!

If You Have Any Mercy…..

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

Please, just shoot me. I’m so sore, it’s not even funny. That is the last time I ask to be taken out of my area when the floor care guys are waxing ANYWHERE!

I spent all night running back and forth between doing dirty rooms (patients dismissed) and cleaning hand rails, baseboards, etc with this nasty stuff called Troubleshooter and another nasty one called SpitFire. Both made my eyes burn something fierce. Then my boss gives me a roll of tape, and has me break off pieces of tape to write notes on doors and I get the tape all over me. I’m allergic to the adhesive, so I was itching until one of the nurses noticed and brought me a bunch of alcohol swabs to get the adhesive off me with. LOL

My feet hurt, my back hurts, and I want to go to sleep, but can’t. Already tried it, it isn’t working. *sigh* Guess I’ll bum around the ‘net for a bit. LOL Maybe I’ll look for a plastic surgeon. I’m sure I can find something I need to have done. Perhaps I’ll look for plastic surgeons in Illinois. It’s only across the state from me. LOL

Ciao!

Yes I Know, I’m Bad

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

I know, I’m bad. I’ve been posting ADS on my site. Not just your typical Google or AdBrite or TextLink Ads, but sponsored posts. Yes, I am a member of PayPerPost. I am a member of BlogtoProfit. And I am a member of Blogitive as well. I like to have extra money on hand if at all possible. This money is for paying my server fees, etc. Can I get along without it? Yes, but if I have the opportunity, why not take it?

A couple of simple rules apply here. If you think a post might be a sponsored post and you wish not to read it, then don’t. If you are from a commenting site, please, do not feel you have to comment on the most recent post if it appears to be a sponsored post. And please, if it offends you to see sponsored posts, do not go around posting pieces of my posts, or anyone else who posts sponsored posts, on your blogs and proceeding to make comments about it. It serves no purpose other than to upset the blog owner you just bashed, and it’s basically being childish. What people do with their blogs is their business, not yours.

An easy way to tell about sponsored posts….. PPP posts are posts about the subject I’m being sponsored by. Now I do NOT choose subjects that I don’t find interesting. If I don’t like the idea or company behind it, I won’t post it. Period. If I think I can work it into my blog reasonably, I will. BlogtoProfit posts are posts that merely have a sponsored by link at the very end. Simple. I’ve not used Blogitive yet, so I haven’t decided how those posts will work.

However, I will continue to post sponsored posts until I feel that it’s either too much of a strain on my time, or I find that the places aren’t paying me like they promised to.

And now it’s off to eat breakfast and get ready for work.

Oh yeah, check this out….I love looking at tattoos, they’re so cool, and at this tattoo design gallery, you can rank the tattoos as well. )

Bummed

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

I guess I’m a bit bummed about a friend of mine. I’ve never met her in person, but we’ve been friends for 10 years on the internet. I run her website for her and I love her to pieces. But lately she says she’s bored with the internet. Tonight she didn’t even sign on. She says she may just stop her column that she writes about WWE/TNA wrestling as well. I hope she doesn’t, but if she does, it’s not like I have any say in it. Part of it is that she doesn’t get a lot of hits to the site. She’s gotten the most hits this year than she has since I started the site. She’s had over 500 since January 1st, but she’s still bummed out about it. So I offered her a challenge. We all know that blogs with frequent posts get hits, so I challenged her to make a post to her site about something wrestling related once a day for a month. If she doesn’t want to do it, I won’t fault her, but I thought it might be fun, and I said I’d take the challenge with her on my column.

If you happen to like wrestling, please, please visit her site Annie’s View. You can leave comments on her columns as well. ) Let her know you were there if you go. )

I asked my boss for a night off in June, because Godsmack is coming to Sioux City, and to my shock, she gave it to me without me having to argue for it. I can’t wait. My first concert in 8 years. Don’t ask. LOL I cant’ wait to go. )

I’ve often wondered about shows like Extreme Makeover and The Swan. Honestly, how can those women go through all that rhinoplasty nose surgery. Ouch!
Ok, I’m out of here. TTYL! Ciao!
