Well, I can download email, and I’ve fixed the issues that were causing the wrong colored text on my site. So the orange text is gone. I’ve also got the CSS validated and the Going Pink, and Rainbow Beauty skins have been validated as XHTML. The Gothic Flower skin is still being re-coded to validate.

I love the way my boss volunteers me to do stuff. Now I’m coming in early on the day I took off for vacation to help set up for the Christmas party. I didn’t know that. But apparently I am. Bleh.

I’m giving my friend some money (she doesn’t have any) to go and get some Christmas presents for me. That way, even though I paid for them, I’ll at least have some presents and not know what they were before I got them. Yeah, I know. Weird. But what can I do? I don’t have family that sends me anything. My family has a weird tradition. As soon as a person turns 18, they stop receiving presents until they get married. It’s kind of rude for those of us like me, who aren’t married and don’t actually plan on getting married. Bleh.

All right….I suppose I’d better get going. I’m starting to get sleepy again. LOL

Well, it’s Thanksgiving in the US. Yay. LOL

Some issues with site & email. For some reason, some people are getting weird things like orange text on the pink layout. Believe me, it’s NOT supposed to be like that. At the moment I can’t seem to figure it out.

Also, I’m having major issues with my email. I try to download my email and I get weird messages from my anti-virus software saying that an email that was trying to be sent couldn’t be processed and to check my internet connection. My connection is fine. As far as I know. I’m having trouble logging in to some sites, but I think that’s from upgrading my browsers. I always have that problem when I first upgrade browsers. My computer is weird.

Ok, not much to say. Just more or less letting you all know I’m still alive. If I can get my email to download, I’m going to get to those darned comment emails that I can’t access. Bleh.

This will probably be short, since I’m just blabbing about my new accomplishments. I’ve crossed off a couple things on my to-do list.

1. Gothic-Peach.Net no longer uses tables for any of the skins. It is controlled solely by CSS.

2. I got my button exchange up and running. Yeah, I know, everyone does button exchanges, but oh well. Go to Triple Moon to sign up. I know the layout at Triple Moon is kind of weird, because the entire site loads into the “Join/Login” section. I’m working on that.

Not much else to say. Have to go walk the dog and then go to work later. Ewww. LOL Plus it’s cold and supposed to either rain or snow tonight. *sigh* TTYL

I’m waiting for the NASCAR race to be over. After the race, my best friend is going to come get me and take me over to my ex-roommate’s house so I can get some of my stuff that’s still over there. There’s a lot of my books and stuff over there. What’s making me mad is that two or three of my Wicca books are over there and I can’t find them. Sarah says that she never saw them and as far as she knows, they’re over here, but I’ve been through all the boxes I have here and they aren’t here. So I told her I’d have to dig for them at her place. She’s in Texas right now and said she didn’t care. LOL She’s also letting me borrow her GameCube because I am hopelessly addicted to Animal Crossing again, and I’m jonesing for the GameCube.

I get a bonus this paycheck and after figuring out my bills, I should have about $200 left. I might see if any of the pawn shops have a GameCube and if they do, if they have Animal Crossing. If so, I’m set. I have the memory cards already from my old GameCube. Otherwise, I’ll have to see about getting one on Ebay. I may do that anyways, I’m not sure.

I’m also wanting an iPod. Not really sure though what kind of iPod to get. I can get the shuffle at Wal-Mart for $70. I might get that for now, although I’d like one of the new Nano’s. Preferably the blue or black ones. Not a big fan of pink, but that’s the only color I’ve been able to find it in besides white here. Bleh.

Not a whole lot to say really. Just random boredom stuff. I returned comments today. First time I’ve actually gotten off my butt and returned comments. LOL Seriously, I’ve told myself a zillion times that I need to get off my butt and start returning comments so people don’t think I’m rude or ingrateful that they commented on my blog.

I put up 2 new skins. Rainbow Beauty features Evanescence’s Amy Lee, and Gothic Flower features Nasti, a goth model I got a couple pics of at GothicModels.Net. As usual, credits are on the credits page.

I’m trying to get some more content up, but I’m not sure what I want to do yet. I’ll figure it out eventually. I’m also learning how to control my layouts using CSS rather than tables. Yes, I’m a slow mover on that front, but the Rainbow Beauty layout uses NO tables now, just CSS to control it.

I guess I’d better go for now. My book is calling me. I’ll leave you a link to my current readings.
