What The……????

Tuesday, October 17th, 2006

Ok, I hate working sometimes. I really do. I mean…. I finished my area early. I checked the tracking system for dismissals to see what rooms needed to be cleaned. There were 6 rooms to be cleaned so I did what I’ve always been told I should do if there are dirty beds to clean, I went upstairs to one of the rooms and started cleaning. Then I met up with my friends and we did some other stuff….cleaning…pulling trash, etc. We were WORKING. Then our supervisor gets mad and says we can’t be running around together and makes me come to the office to help people do these stupid computer tests. BLEH. Boring. Did I mention that I have the answers to all of the tests memorized?

Money’s REALLY tight this payday. I am facing possibly not being able to renew my hosting for this domain, and it needs to be done this payday because it’s due on the 24th. *sigh* I’m gonna put up a “tip jar” even though I don’t have anything here that deserves it. LOL If you feel like helping out, I’d appreciate it. ) No pressure though. I’m not that kind of person. I really just wanted to let my visitors know that my site may go down. If it does, I’ll probably convert Cerulean-Dreams.Net into my personal site. I’ll lose all my entries because for some reason my database backups don’t work when I try to install them over there, but oh well. *sigh* I never can seem to keep a blog. LOL

My friend Sarah actually bought me some groceries today because money is so tight that I actually have to give up my laundry & grocery budgets to pay my rent. After all, food doesn’t do me any good if I don’t have a place to live. Another friend said she might have some stuff for me as well.

I’ve decided I cannot have a checking account. I just can’t keep it up. I can manage to pay my bills and keep myself going if I have a savings account, but give me a checking account and I’m constantly running aground with my finances. So although I’m keeping the checking account so I can say that I do have one if necessary, I am just going to deposit precisely what’s necessary to pay my bills and nothing more. My groceries, etc will be paid for in cash only, and all my bills will be paid before I shop for groceries. *sigh* It’s bad when you have to consider buying ONE CD in 3 months splurging.

Anyways, I’m gonna take off and get that “tip jar” set up. ) Talk to you later.

Kinda Chilly….

Friday, October 13th, 2006

It’s a bit chilly here. My landlord came and turned on the heat, but it’s still a bit chilly in my apartment. Colder outside though. We actually had SNOW the other day. I was rather shocked. I’ve had snow before Hallowe’en before, but I wasn’t expecting it this early. But it didn’t snow for long and by the time I went to work the next day, it was gone.

LOL, I got some candles the other day that smell really good. They’re toasted marshmallow scented. Ever notice that candles tend to have food scents?? Cinnamon, vanilla, strawberry, toasted marshmallow, buttercream, peach pie, etc. LOL Then there’s the florals. Not too many florals around here though. Mostly food scents. LOL

Yes, I know, this post is completely weird and random. That’s the kind of mood I’m in right now. I’ll leave off with my current book.

In the Dark of the Night: A Novel

Bleh….

Saturday, October 7th, 2006

Just to start off, I hate doctors. I really do. Go in for one complaint and come out with more than you started with. Bleh. I went in to have my prescription for Nexium renewed, and came out with Nexium and another pill. Go figure.

My friend Wanda wants to start her own business. She wants me to help her out on it. I’ve heard from a lot of people not to go into business with your friends. I’m still debating. But it would get me out of the hospital once (if) it takes off. Now she’s going to start two different businesses. One is a cleaning service, not sure if I’ll be part of that one or not. The one I know I’ll be part of is a flea-market type thing. People around here love flea markets. I’ll probably sell my candles, afghans, baby accessories, etc that I make. I crochet as well as cross stitch and make candles. LOL

As soon as I get some time off, I’m going to work on some more content for the site. I just haven’t had a chance to do anything with it lately. I’m always working or tired. LOL

Speaking of work….. they’re changing things around again. They changed our break times, they’re changing what we do and how we do it on the weekends. Now they’re thinking of changing our schedules so that we work every 3rd weekend. While I’d love having 2 weekends in a row off, I don’t want to give up my pay-day Friday off. In order to do the 2 weekends in a row off, I’d have to give that up. I really need to talk to my boss about that.

I got the new Evanescence CD. I love it. I’m only on the 6th track, Snow White Queen, but so far, the CD has far surpassed my expectations. Usually I’m not fond of 2nd CDs as they usually aren’t up to the par of the 1st album. But this one is a truly great CD. At least in my opinion. LOL If you like Evanescence but haven’t gotten The Open Door yet, I HIGHLY recommend it. )

In fact, I’ll leave you a link to check out the CD. )

The Open Door

Ok, I think I can stop blabbering at you now. LOL Just to let you know, I’ve started reporting Despair members who don’t comment on my blog. Hey, I’m just following the rules. So if you’re commenting, you don’t have anything to worry about. I haven’t started reporting eXposure or Exentrique members as I’m not yet off the pending list to start commenting or receiving comments from them. Ok, now I really am off. Talk to you later. )

Shopping, Pizza, Candles…

Sunday, October 1st, 2006

I went shopping with some friends today. First LaShawn and her mom picked me up (I don’t have a car) and we went all over. We went to Dollar Tree, where I got some votive candles and candle holders, Hobby Lobby, where I got cross stitch fabric and votive candles, a little needlework shop, but didn’t buy anything there, Wal-Mart, where I got a book, and Fareway, a local grocery store. Somewhere in there, we had lunch at McDonald’s as well. LOL

Then my friend Sarah picked me up and took me out to Pizza Hut for dinner and then to Wal-Mart because dimwit me forgot to get bleach the first time I was there. Then we went to her place to find towels I could use for bathing my dog. )

When I was at Hobby Lobby I checked out the stuff to make candles. I used to make candles all the time, but I left all the stuff down in Texas at my ex-roommate’s place because she made candles too, and a lot of the stuff we had, she’d bought. Now I want to get back into making candles, but the stuff is so darned expensive. I should be getting a $100 bonus check in November, so I’m figuring on using that to get some candle stuff, and then getting more at tax time. ) I can’t wait to start making candles again.

I guess I’ll leave off with another book. ) Seeing as how I’m such a reader. LOL I’m getting this one from Zooba in a few days (it’s shipped, I just haven’t gotten it yet).
