Ok, one thing I can say….I do my job. Seriously. I do my job. Maybe something doesn’t get done one day, but it always gets done the next day. That’s a normal thing when one has an area such as Same Day Surgery. And it’s never something vital, like the patient rooms. It’s usually something like an office. Well, someone complained that same day surgery was filthy. What it was, the head nurse there was complaining about her office…..which I can’t clean because I don’t have a key to it. And she always shuts and locks her door when she’s not in there. Plus, my supervisor said that we don’t clean those offices and we don’t clean their computers either. My boss told me I was doing a very good job and to keep it up, and then said she wanted to go up and talk to the gal. I asked her not to. Hello….I deal with this person on a daily basis. My boss doesn’t. LOL So my boss is emailing her about it. Bleh

My boss told me not to take it personally, but one of my co-workers who happened to witness the complaint said that it was hard not to, especially since it was obvious I WAS doing my job. Anyways….I’m finished complaning now.

Well, I am officially with my cable company for internet service. I realized that this would save me money in the long run, as I can use my cell phone as my main phone, and eliminate $30 from my expenses every month. Works for me. So my internet will not be interrupted.

I started my Halloween/Samhain decorating today. I put orange lights in my front window, a few window clings (witches, what else) and these Gel Cling things that spell out Happy Halloween. I put fake spider webs on my mantle with a couple of fake spiders in them, and one orange and one black taper candle on my mantle. Plus 3 long-stemmed black silk roses in a purple vase. The roses will probably stay there until Christmas/Yule, when I replace them with silver silk pointsettias. My theme this year for Christmas/Yule will be blue & silver. I’ve already seen our Wal-Mart putting out some of their Christmas stuff and I’ve seen blue decorations and I know they always have silver. So that’s my theme this year.

Hehe, my cat, Spooky, (solid black) is peeking out the front window. I wish I was off on Halloween so I could pass out candy and see the trick or treaters’ expressions at a black cat in the window. I suppose I should probably get going. I don’t really have anything else to say right now.

Ok, I may not be able to update for a couple of weeks. It seems that my phone company has decided to disconnect me come Monday for not paying a bill I never got. I paid them what their website said to pay them, but it turns out I owed $99.00 more than I paid. For some reason, their website didn’t list what it should have, and so now I have to hope that I can find a way to pay that bill. Considering I DON’T have the money for it, this should be fairly interesting.

I turned off my commenter status at both Xposure & Despair until I’m certain that my phone and internet will stay on. I have DSL through my phone company but I COULD get cable modem service from my cable company. If I have to, I can try to get that. My friend says that they let her install her modem herself, and so if that’s the case, I can be online Monday via the cable company. I’m not happy with my phone company, and I have a cell phone that I use more often than my home phone. Might as well not pay a bill for a phone I never use.

I will keep you updated on whether or not I have internet and whether or not I use the DSL or Cable Modem. Bleh. I hate bills!

Top it all off with the fact that Tony’s car sucked today in the Nextel Cup race. Plus someone called in at work and so we were 3 people short today. UGH! I think I’m gonna just go get something to eat and chill. Talk to ya later.

I finally managed to get my site working in WP without having to use downloaded and tweaked themes. Eventually I’ll re-skin the site, but for now, I’m just going to have Happy Hallowe’en. Normally I’d have put Happy Samhain on there, being that I’m Wiccan, but since some people might not know what that is, I went with the traditional Hallowe’en.

Ended up not going to work today. Not because I didn’t want to, but because my left ankle and foot were extremely swollen and a bit painful. I went to the doctor instead, and am now sporting a gel-splint that I’ll have to wear for 2 - 3 weeks. They said they couldn’t see any fractures, but due to my having had reconstructive surgery on my heel, they had to send the x-rays to the hospital to be better inspected by the “pros.” They’ll let me know if indeed there is a fracture in my heel or ankle. I’m hoping not. That’s the last thing I need.

One of these days, I’ll take a pic of myself with my camera phone and email it to myself so I can post a “current” pic of me. Don’t hold your breath though, because I think my camera phone’s pictures stink. LOL
